Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or new to Reformer Pilates, we’re here to support your journey every step of the way. To help you feel confident and prepared we’ve put together some essentials.
Here’s everything you need to know before your first class:
Arrive early
Try to get to the studio 15 minutes before class starts. That gives us plenty of time to say hello, show you around and introduce you to the Reformer. If you arrive after the class has begun, we won’t be able to let you in—for your safety and to keep the flow going for the rest of the group.
Shoe-free studio
Our studios are totally shoe-free so we ask that you leave your shoes in the designated area—this could be a bench outside the studio, in reception, the changing room, or your locker – depending on the studio layout.
Grip socks
Grip socks aren’t mandatory, but they’re highly recommended — especially if things get a bit sweaty or you’re unsure about how stable you’ll feel on a Reformer. Forgot yours? No worries, grab a pair of branded PILAT3S socks at the front desk.
Wipe down your Reformer
After class, please give your Reformer a quick clean – cleaning stations are dotted around the studio or placed in your basket under your Reformer.
What to Expect
At PILAT3S, you’ll discover a fresh, elevated take on Reformer Pilates — one that combines dynamic, full-body routines with cutting-edge studio technology. Each class is structured around timed blocks, challenging you while moving with flow and precision.
You’ll use a combination of classical props like balls and additions like dumbbells, to elevate your Reformer experience. What makes us different? It’s this blend of innovation and tradition – studio lighting, curated playlists and guided screen cues that bring the immersive experience, while the six core principles of Pilates remain at the heart of every movement.
We offer three distinct class types — each built to move with you — whether you’re new to Pilates or elevating your practice:
· Align – focus on form, control and core stability. Align and elongate your body through a variety of open rotations and dynamic movements.
· Tone – build endurance and strength with a full-body burn. Tone your body with this dynamic flow, featuring burnout and pulse sequences for enhanced sculpting.
· Power – energise your body and build strength through dynamic and compound movements using dumbbells and the Reformer.
No matter your starting point, PILAT3S is here to help you level up — physically and mentally.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the studio.
